But there's much more to the houses.
The sign on the house cusp, each house ruler, intercepted signs, empty houses, stelliums, planets sitting right up close to the cusp — this is the stuff that makes your chart come alive — and where all the excitement is.
Houses are where the action happens
We have the planet, the sign, the aspects, and the house — and the houses are where we really feel our astrology, because they're a very earthly thing. Houses are all about how the sky looks from down here on the earth, and when you look around your life, you're seeing your houses in action every day.
The signs tell HOW. The houses tell WHERE.
That's why the houses make astrology so practical, personal, and meaningful, and why your understanding of your own chart only truly lands and becomes real once you have a solid grounding in them.

Class 6: The Houses of the Soul
The water houses — some astrologers call them the houses of endings. They're karmic and very soulful, and you could call them the vulnerable places in your chart, but they're really powerful. This is probably my favorite class to teach because there's so much depth.
