Hi, I'm Tara Vogel. I'm a parenting astrologer and mom of three.
I was introduced to astrology in 2010, when I had a reading for my daughter, Eva, who had been struggling with many challenges since her birth.
That first astrology reading changed our lives. I started to feel something I had rarely felt since my parenting journey with her began: peace.
I realized that she was living the life her soul intended, and that as her mom, all I needed to do was support her on her path. That fateful reading gave me the tools to do that.

Parenting Astrologer & Coach
As a mom of three, I've found that having my middle daughter's natal chart read when she was young helped me navigate the uncharted waters of raising a neurodivergent child. I wholeheartedly believe that understanding your whole family's birth charts can bring more peace, harmony, and compassion to your daily life with kids.

I'm an Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed coach and certified astrologer.
My background as an elementary teacher, natural parenting educator, and mom has equipped me to help other moms stay connected to their kids and themselves through the cosmos.
Understanding your natal chart and your child's natal chart is one of the greatest tools for better understanding ourselves and our children.
I believe in a holistic approach to living. I integrate my knowledge of holistic living, the Polyvagal theory of the nervous system, and the IFS method of psychotherapy into my astrology sessions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is this course right for?
This course is designed for practicing astrologers, including new astrologers, who want to learn more about reading children's charts and giving readings to parents. It's also designed for people with some basic knowledge of astrology who want to understand how to identify the child in every natal chart. Before registering, you should know the basic building blocks of astrology: the elements, signs, houses, and planets.
What if I don't want to give readings?
This class was designed to give you a framework for providing readings to parents. It will also help you better understand astrology, your own chart, and your kids' charts. If you want to go deeper with your astrology wisdom, it will still be a good fit for you.
If you know the elements, signs, planets, and houses, you're in the right place. This is NOT a beginner's astrology class, so if you're still learning the basics, it's best to sit this one out.
If you already have a strong foundation in astrology, I encourage you to jump in with an open mind. There are subtle differences between how a child embodies their chart and how an adult has grown into it. Tara has many years of experience working with parents and a lot of wisdom to share.
What if I don't know much about astrology? Or what if I already know a lot?
How exactly does this course work?
On the first day of class, October 22 (see the full schedule above), you'll be invited to join a Zoom meeting with Tara and your classmates. You'll hear the material taught live and have the chance to ask questions. If you can't attend live, every session will be recorded so you can watch it in your own time.
After our eight classes, we'll come together one more time for ICNC In Action, a 3-hour live workshop where we practice reading charts together with Tara and in small breakout groups.
You'll also be invited to a private website that houses the class recordings, PDF handouts, and any other material you need to get the most out of the course.
Do I have to be online at any specific time?
This course includes live sessions (see the full schedule above). If you can't be there live, all of the sessions will be recorded, and you can watch them on your own time.
How much time will this take every week?
Plan for each live class to take about two hours, whether you're there live or watching the replay later. ICNC In Action is a one-time, 3-hour session at the end of the program.
